“For 21 years, we have worked to develop Ankara”

 

Speaking at a rally in Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “For 21 years, we have worked to develop and beautify Ankara as well as our other cities, and to raise the life quality of our people. We have made TL605 billion worth of public investment in Ankara over the past 21 years.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a rally in Ankara.

Noting that they are well aware of the neglects Ankara, just like Türkiye’s all other cities, has suffered in the past, President Erdoğan said: “For 21 years, we have worked to develop and beautify Ankara as well as our other cities, and to raise the life quality of our people. We have made TL605 billion worth of public investment in Ankara over the past 21 years.”

Underscoring that they have built 24,227 new classrooms in Ankara, President Erdoğan went on to say: “In the field of youth and sports, we have inaugurated higher education dormitories with a total capacity of 25,648 students, and 110 sports facilities in different branches.”

Further stressing that they have built 160 healthcare facilities, 45 of them hospitals with a bed capacity of 10,382, President Erdoğan added: “Bilkent and Etlik City Hospitals serve as the biggest and most modern hospitals of not just Ankara but of the entire Türkiye.”
