President Erdoğan addressed the nation after the Cabinet Meeting

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

Making remarks on the topics addressed during the meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Urban transformation is undisputedly a matter of survival for Türkiye. Most importantly, this is an issue above politics, above political parties. We will not allow anyone to undermine or slow down the urban transformation projects, which are our primary tool in preparing our country for earthquakes. Our aim is to build 350,000 houses in Istanbul every year and renew all the buildings that need urgent transformation within five years.”
