President Erdoğan attended the Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport Metro Opening Ceremony via live link from the Presidential Complex

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport Metro Line, President Erdoğan said: “With the project we are putting into service today, we will have provided Istanbul with nearly 162 kilometers long rail system just since the opening of our airport. And, the total length of the rail system network in our city has reached 362 kilometers. Furthermore, most of these rail systems have been built by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed via videoconference the opening ceremony of Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport Metro Line.

Expressing his wish for the new metro line to be auspicious for Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “With the project we are putting into service today, we will have provided Istanbul with nearly 162 kilometers long rail system just since the opening of our airport. And, the total length of the rail system network in our city has reached 362 kilometers. Furthermore, most of these rail systems have been built by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.”

President Erdoğan noted that the Istanbul metros, which have furthered the construction quality and travel comfort with each new project, have the highest world standards.
