President Erdoğan attends Concordia Annual Summit in New York

 

Addressing the 13th Concordia Annual Summit in New York, President Erdoğan, on the Türkiye-Iraq Development Road Project, said: “With such a step we will take, we will have the opportunity to build a new world.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in New York to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, answered questions during the 13th Concordia Annual Summit.

Concerning the disasters in Morocco and Libya, President Erdoğan stressed that Türkiye stands ready to provide aid to both countries, but that Morocco has yet to respond to Türkiye’s offer for help. Noting that Türkiye has dispatched three giant cargo planes and three ships of relief materials, equipment and foodstuff to Libya, President Erdoğan said: “Our teams continue their works in Libya. We deem this our humanitarian duty.” 

Underscoring the importance of the Türkiye-Iraq Development Road Project, President Erdoğan stated: “With such a step we will take, we will have the opportunity to build a new world.”
