President Erdoğan attends Diyanet Academy Graduation Ceremony
Addressing the Graduation Ceremony of the 1st Term Religious Officials of the Diyanet Academy, President Erdoğan said: “Following meticulous and vigorous efforts spanning nearly a decade, we inaugurated in 2022 the Diyanet Academy, the legal framework of which we had started to form back in 2012. With the establishment of the academy, our Diyanet community has acquired a highly qualified structure in terms of prevocational and vocational training.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech during the Graduation Ceremony of the 1st Term Religious Officials of the Diyanet Academy at the Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center.

Drawing attention to the meticulous and vigorous efforts spanning nearly a decade in the lead-up to the foundation of the Diyanet Academy in 2022, President Erdoğan stressed that the Diyanet community has acquired a highly qualified structure in terms of prevocational and vocational training with the establishment of the academy, and added that the Diyanet community will grow stronger with the commencement of the trainees.
Noting that every sort and level of training previously provided by the head offices and provincial branches of the Presidency of Religious Affairs has now been gathered under one single roof with the commissioning of the Diyanet Academy, President Erdoğan said: “Thus, we have put a critical institution at the service of the Presidency of Religious Affairs that would enhance the quality in religious training and ensure far better services not only for our citizens at home but also for our citizens living abroad as well as for the brotherly peoples, boosting the Presidency’s corporate, social and scientific capacity in every field.”
Stressing that he, first as Prime Minister and then as President, has closely followed all the phases of the establishment of the academy, President Erdoğan stated: “Thank Allah, we are now taking joy in witnessing the graduation of the 1st term trainees of the academy. I congratulate the 4,537 religious officials who have successfully completed their 8-month-long training at the Diyanet Academy.”
