President Erdoğan attends opening ceremony in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the joint opening ceremony of multiple projects with a total investment value of over 3.4 billion Turkish liras in the Bağcılar district of Istanbul.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “Today we are officially inaugurating 97 projects, including the municipal services building, the district governor’s office, an NGO communication center, a life center for the elderly, several urban transformation projects, educational facilities, places of worship, parks, gardens, streets and Şehri Bağcılar Building Complex.”

Stating that by completing two big nation’s gardens, one of which he stressed was under construction and the other in the project phase, they would increase the green space capacity of Bağcılar, President Erdoğan noted: “We will inshallah put into service 65,000-square meter Bağcılar Nation’s Garden, which is right next to Üçyüzlü Subway Station,  by the end of this year. In addition to our current works, from now on we aim to focus more on urban transformation projects.”
