President Erdoğan attends opening ceremony in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of multiple projects in the Pendik district of Istanbul.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Erdoğan congratulated Ramadan, and wished Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the earthquakes that hit Kahramanmaraş and its neighboring cities, and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Stating that they were endeavoring to complete the construction of the post-earthquake houses in a short span of time, and deliver them to their owners, President Erdoğan said: “We pray from here for our citizens fighting against the disaster and for our Palestinian brothers and sisters defending al-Aqsa Mosque, our first qibla. We pray from here for our Yemeni brothers and sisters spending the Ramadan in need of a drop of water, a slice of bread. I pray from here for our expatriates who defend their faith despite all kinds of discrimination and pressure.”
