President Erdoğan in Qatar

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Doha to attend the FIFA World Cup 2022 closing ceremony at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.

President Erdoğan was welcomed at Hamad International Airport by Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali of Qatar, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Qatar Mehmet Mustafa Göksu, and other officials.

Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu is accompanying President Erdoğan on his visit to Qatar.
