President Erdoğan in TRNC

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to attend the inauguration of the new terminal building of Ercan Airport and the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day ceremony following his three-day visit to the Gulf region.

President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony at Ercan Airport by TRNC President Ersin Tatar. TRNC Parliament Speaker Zorlu Töre, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, ministers, and Cyprus Turkish Peace Force Commander Major General Zorlu Topaloğlu were also present at the ceremony.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, and Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler are accompanying President Erdoğan on his visit to the TRNC.
