President Erdoğan in Uzbekistan

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in the Uzbekistani city of Samarkand to attend the 9th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.

President Erdoğan was welcomed at Samarkand International Airport by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov of Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev of Uzbekistan, Deputy Foreign Minister Gayrat Fazilov of Uzbekistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Alisher Agzamhodjaev and other officials.

First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu are accompanying President Erdoğan in Samarkand.
