President Erdoğan meets with President Aliyev of Azerbaijan

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is paying a visit to Azerbaijan after his inauguration, was welcomed by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan with an official ceremony at the Youth Palace.

Once the two leaders arrived at the ceremonial ground, the national anthems of Türkiye and Azerbaijan were played, and President Erdoğan inspected the guard of honor.

Following the introduction of the delegations, President Erdoğan and President Aliyev of Azerbaijan held a bilateral meeting.

Before the welcoming ceremony, President Erdoğan visited the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, former President of Azerbaijan, and cemeteries for Turkish and Azerbaijani martyrs.
