President Erdoğan meets with President Sakellaropoulou of Greece
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is paying an official visit to Greece for the 5th meeting of the Türkiye-Greece High Level Cooperation Council, was welcomed with an official ceremony by President Katerina Sakellaropoulou of Greece.
Speaking prior to his meeting with President Sakellaropoulou of Greece, President Erdoğan voiced his pleasure over being in Athens after six years, and said: “I believe that the 5th meeting of the Türkiye-Greece High Level Cooperation Council will lead to the continuation of a new era between the two countries in a much stronger manner.”
Stating that they have come to Greece with a large delegation of ministers, President Erdoğan said their goal is to increase the bilateral trade volume, which stands currently at 5.5 billion dollars, to 10 billion dollars, and that they will discuss at the talks what kind of steps they can take in several areas to that end.
