President Erdoğan performs Friday prayer in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered reporters’ questions after performing the Friday prayer at Hz. Ali Mosque in Istanbul’s Üsküdar district.

Responding to a question about the integration of the Black Sea natural gas into the national system, President Erdoğan noted that the Black Sea natural gas would be extracted on April 20, and that all the necessary planning for the integration of this gas into the national system was being made according to that.

Asked about the works carried out in the earthquake zone, President Erdoğan stated that both the groundbreakings and delivery of residences as well as village houses continued in all of the 11 provinces, and added: “As you know, I have requested a one-year period from my citizens. We will inshallah quickly complete the construction of these houses within a year, and deliver them to their owners. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is carrying out an intensive work. Obviously, there is also the debris removal works. And, in the meantime ground studies are being done.”

President Erdoğan further noted that they would be inaugurating a city hospital in Kocaeli the following day.
