President Erdoğan shares iftar with martyrs’ families
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared iftar with martyrs’ families at the Presidential Complex on the first day of Ramadan.
Delivering remarks at the dinner, President Erdoğan said that just like every year, he wanted to share iftar with martyrs’ families on the very first day of Ramadan, and added: “On the occasion of this iftar dinner, which we are having with the participation of our state protocol, I congratulate our nation and all the Islamic world on holy Ramadan. Our martyrs’ relatives and our ghazis have been entrusted to us by our nation. It is our duty to stand by them in all their problems, gratify them and win their consent.”
“WE HAVE MADE TÜRKİYE A GENUINELY INDEPENDENT COUNTRY”
Underscoring that they have made Türkiye a genuinely independent country with the investments they have made in defense industry, President Erdoğan noted: “You see the ongoing incidents in our near environ. If you are not a strong state, with your politics, economy, defense industry and social structure alike, any kind of oppression is deemed appropriate for you. The path to defending our country’s lands and living safely inside those borders goes through being strong in every term.”
“OUR NATION HAS FOILED ALL TRAPS”
“We have paid the price of the shortcomings we had regarding this issue in the first century of our Republic with backwardness, instability, chaos, and by wasting our time and energy on domestic challenges,” President Erdoğan stressed, and went on to say: “Many games have been played and many traps have been set, particularly in the past decade, to once again put Türkiye in the same situation. Among these were the terror acts and the coup attempt. Thanks be to Allah, our nation has foiled all these games and traps by defending their unity and solidarity.”
“IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME FOR TÜRKİYE TO SOLVE ITS PROBLEMS”
“Thanks to the sacrifices of our martyrs and ghazis, and to the 85 million, who have joined forces and defended their independence and future, we have always continued our path. Obviously, we still have problems to resolve during this period in which we have opened up a new horizon to our future with the Century of Türkiye vision. With Allah’s help, we will overcome all of them. Thanks to the strong infrastructure it has, it is only a matter of will, plan and time for our country to solve every matter on its agenda. Because, we have the first condition, which is the climate of peace and security, social stability and social peace, in order for a country to accomplish its programmes,” President Erdoğan said.
President Erdoğan further noted: “Obviously, the efforts of those, who seek to take Türkiye once again back to its weak old days by bringing our country to its knees, will never end. What matters, however, is to defend as the nation our achievements and future. We see at every challenge we face that our nation has a firm determination on this issue.
