President Erdoğan spoke at the 12th Term Judge and Prosecutor Draw Ceremony

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended a ceremony held at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center for the appointment of 148 judges and public prosecutors.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “Our judiciary has problems still waiting to be resolved as well. Some of these problems are related to the amendments that need to be made in our constitution and laws. And some of them arise from institutional operations, differences of opinion among institutions and from old habits. In this sense, we uninterruptedly continue the reforms we have launched to improve the regulatory infrastructure of our judicial system.”

Reminding that they shared the Judicial Reform Strategy Document with the public in 2019, President Erdoğan noted: “We step by step follow our roadmap in this document. The eighth judicial package, which has recently been submitted for the approval of our Ghazi Parliament, is one of the steps of this strategy document.”
