President Erdoğan spoke at the Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a commemoration ceremony held at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center on the 85th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing to eternity.

Stating that he remember with grace Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Commander-in-Chief of the  national struggle and the founder of the Republic, on the 85th anniversary of his passing to eternity, President Erdoğan wished Allah’s mercy upon all the martyrs, veterans and heroes, who have for a thousand years sacrificed their lives in order for these lands to be our homeland.

“May my Lord protect and make victorious our security forces on duty inside and outside our borders,” President Erdoğan noted, and added: “I extend my gratitude to all who work and exert themselves in order for our country to grow bigger, for our state to grow stronger, and for our nation to remain in unity and solidarity.”

Pointing that with the 29 October Republic Day, which was recently celebrated with great enthusiasm, the first century of the last state on the Anatolian lands was left behind, President Erdoğan said: “We maintain our efforts to elevate our country above the level of contemporary civilizations, which was the will of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal, with the spirit of national struggle. It is this very approach with which we have named the second century of our Republic as the Century of Türkiye.”

Underscoring that they have overcome many problems, from the pandemic to the earthquakes, and from regional conflicts to global crises, by mobilizing all their attention, energy and means for the construction of the great and strong Türkiye, President Erdoğan stated that just as they have elevated Türkiye to the strongest level of its history in political, diplomatic, economic and military terms, they will inshallah see all together the rise of the Century of Türkiye as well.
