President Erdoğan spoke at the Kilis rally

 

Addressing citizens in Kilis, President Erdoğan said: “Our top priority is to revive the quake-hit region. We are rapidly healing the wounds of the earthquakes that have affected 14 million people by causing a heavy destruction in the seven thousand neighborhoods and villages of the 124 districts in our 11 cities.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at the party’s rally in Kilis.

Stating that they know very well the needs, demands and goals of Kilis, President Erdoğan said that they will hopefully not disappoint the people of Kilis, and will work harder to be worthy of them.

Reminding that the disaster of the century took place a year ago, President Erdoğan noted that 33 of over 53 thousand citizens, who lost their lives in the disaster, were from Kilis, and added: “Our top priority is to revive the quake-hit region. You see, too, our sincere efforts to that end. We are rapidly healing the wounds of the earthquakes that have affected 14 million people by causing a heavy destruction in the seven thousand neighborhoods and villages in the 124 districts of our 11 cities. We have delivered over 76 thousand residential units and village houses to their rightful owners so far. We will deliver 15 to 20 thousand residential units and village houses each month. Inshallah, we will have delivered 200 thousand homes to their rightful owners by the end of the year.”
