President Erdoğan spoke at the Traditional Ambassadors Iftar
Speaking at an iftar with ambassadors in Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “We stand ready to assume responsibility as a guarantor for the prevention of the recurrence of the massacres in Gaza and for the revival of the region. Everyone is aware of the fact that lasting peace and stability is not possible in our region or the world unless a just resolution is found to the Palestinian issue.”

“ISRAEL RECKLESSLY MAINTAINS ITS WAR CRIMES”
Addressing ambassadors during the iftar, President Erdoğan stated that they have welcomed Ramadan, the month of peace, solidarity and grace, sadly due to the ongoing incidents in the region, Gaza in particular, and said: “Our 32 thousand brothers and sisters have been martyred during the Israeli attacks that have been going on for five months in Gaza and on the occupied Palestinian territories. And 73 thousand Palestinians have been injured during the bombardments targeting civilians and civilian residential units.”
Underscoring that Israel has been continuing its massacres as if nothing has happened despite the ICJ injunction on protection of civilians, President Erdoğan added: “Israel, which has turned a deaf ear to everyone, maintains its war crimes recklessly, and what is more, it acts in such an impudent manner that it is threatening the countries that call for an immediate ceasefire. Israel makes not only the Palestinian people but also international organizations pay the price of it being spoiled for nearly a century and of remaining silent to its massacres, land usurpations and thefts. We will all face the price of the loss of confidence in international organizations as much more terror and much more instability in the upcoming period.”
“TÜRKİYE HAS DELIVERED OVER 40 TONS OF HUMANITARIAN AID TO GAZA”
Stressing that the hesitant policies of those, who provide Israel with unconditional military and diplomatic support, encourage Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his abettors, President Erdoğan went on to say: “While cargo planes constantly carry weapons and ammunition to Tel Aviv from western capitals, halfhearted sentences are meaningless. We all know well that the current amount of aid is not enough while the attacks on and the blockade in Gaza continue. The most urgent need is to increase the truck crossings from Rafah Border to the necessary level. Obviously, further pressure must be put on Israel to achieve this.”
Pointing out that Türkiye has delivered over 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza via Egypt so far, President Erdoğan said: “Recently, a ship that belongs to Kızılay and our nongovernmental organizations arrived at the Al Arish Port of Egypt the other day. We will increasingly continue our aid during Ramadan through our public institutions, municipalities, foundations and associations alike.”

Stating that Türkiye stands ready to assume responsibility as a guarantor for the prevention of the recurrence of the massacres in Gaza and for the revival of the region, President Erdoğan continued as follows: “Everyone is aware of the fact that lasting peace and stability is not possible in our region or the world unless a just resolution is found to the Palestinian issue. And the only way to achieve this is the establishment of an independent, sovereign and geographically-integrated Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East al-Quds as its capital. We all are in debt to the massacred Palestinian children, and this debt can only be paid by the establishment of a Palestinian state.”
