President Erdoğan visits exhibition commemorating Necip Fazıl Kısakürek’s passing
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of the digital art exhibition “1 Poem 1 Life/Sakarya Türküsü [Ballad for Sakarya]” at Atatürk Cultural Center in Istanbul organized to commemorate the late Turkish poet Necip Fazıl Kısakürek on the 40th anniversary of his death.
Making a speech at the event, President Erdoğan stressed the pride he feels in having known and met Necip Fazıl Kısakürek in person, and highlighted the important role the conferences, works and poems of the late poet played in shaping his politics and worldview.
