President Erdoğan visits Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial tomb in India

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, along with G20 leaders, paid a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial tomb of the Indian independence movement’s leader Mahatma Gandhi, in New Delhi.

Welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India at the entrance of the memorial complex, President Erdoğan laid a wreath at the memorial.

Following the visit, President Erdoğan and G20 leaders proceeded to the Bharat Mandapam convention center for the second day of the G20 Summit.
