President Erdoğan: We have placed the principle of ‘strong woman, strong family, strong Türkiye’ at the center of our development plans

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at an event held at Istanbul Congress Center on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Referring to woman as the fundamental pillar of both social life and family, the necessary condition for human existence and future, President Erdoğan said: “Today, all the countries in the world are building the most important part of their development visions upon women, the only area where they can make a difference. That is exactly why we have placed the principle of ‘strong woman, strong family, strong Türkiye’ at the center of our own development plans.”

“Beyond assisting our women in leading a life befitting human dignity, we want to ensure on the basis of equal rights and opportunities that they act as individuals who contribute to both themselves and their country in every sphere of life,” President Erdoğan noted.
