Speaking at a commemoration for Mehmet Akif Ersoy in Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “As long as the attacks on our independence continue, we will continue to defend our future. Although we pay prices in material and spiritual terms, we will by no means relinquish our will to live freely in our own homeland.”
