“We aim to permanently increase the welfare of all members of our nation”
Addressing citizens in Çorum, President Erdoğan described their aim as to ensure permanent welfare increase for all members of the nation rather than provide short-lived alleviations, and said: “Just as we have reduced inflation to single-digit figures previously, we will do the same again.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at the party’s rally in Çorum.
Noting that they see Çorum’s problems and issues as their own, President Erdoğan said: “Working shoulder to shoulder and in solidarity, we have made Çorum one of the most popular and beautiful cities of its region. Çorum has made a name for itself as a success story in Türkiye with its increasing production and exports, with its expanding industry, and with its dynamic economy. We will consolidate these attributes of Çorum through additional investments in the city.”
“WE WILL SEE A RAPID DROP IN INFLATION STARTING FROM THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR”
Drawing attention to the steps taken to tackle inflation and high cost of living, President Erdoğan said: “Our ministries continue their inspections of the opportunists who set their sights on the nation’s livelihoods through exorbitant price hikes. Yet, may my brothers and sisters from Çorum rest assured that we will see a rapid drop in inflation starting from the second half of the year.”
Stressing that reduced inflation means bigger pie, President Erdoğan said: “As the pie grows, our resources also expand. This will benefit the entire 85 million. That is what we work to achieve. We aim to permanently increase the welfare of all members of our nation rather than provide short-lived alleviations that have the lifespan of a butterfly. Just as we have reduced inflation to single-digit figures previously, we will do the same again.”
Pointing out that their reference is the works, services and projects they have implemented, President Erdoğan added that the investments made in Çorum over the past 21 years amount to TL96.5 billion.
