“We are implementing projects to develop our cities”

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of AKM-Gar-Kızılay Subway, President Erdoğan said: “We are gradually implementing the projects aimed at developing our cities with their infrastructures and superstructures alike.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of AKM-Gar-Kızılay Subway in Ankara.

Commencing his speech by congratulating citizens’ Ramadan, President Erdoğan said: “I hope these holy days may yield to auspicious outcomes for our country and nation. I pray to my Lord that he will not make our nation once again face such tests as the big earthquakes we experienced in February. We are determined to make all our cities resistant to disasters by hopefully healing the wounds of those earthquakes in a short span of time.”

Underscoring that they, while making these preparations, continued to facilitate people’s lives and prepare a safe, peaceful and prosperous future for children, President Erdoğan noted: “We are gradually implementing the projects aimed at developing our cities with their infrastructures and superstructures alike. And, we are today together to inaugurate a critical project for the local transportation of our capital, Ankara. With its feature of interconnecting Ankara’s different transportation networks, Atatürk Cultural Center-Gar-Kızılay Subway has an importance that surpasses its 3.3-kilometer-long line and three stations.”
