“We have endeavored to expand freedoms”

 

Speaking at a meeting with NGOs in Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “We have endeavored to embrace everyone and expand freedoms for all segments of the society.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a meeting with NGOs in the Keçiören district of Ankara.

“We have stood before our nation for 40 years, including 21 years in power. Over the course of this period, we have not divided or discriminated against, or interfered with anyone. We have lifted bans, put an end to oppression, lawless practices,” President Erdoğan said.

Underscoring that they have never been interested in anyone’s sect, disposition, origin or appearance, President Erdoğan said: “We have endeavored to embrace everyone and expand freedoms for all segments of the society. We have always appeared before our people with our services and accomplishments.”
