“We have equipped all our cities with investments that will improve the quality of life of every citizen”

 

Addressing citizens in Mardin, President Erdoğan said: “We have equipped all cities in our country with investments that will improve the quality of life of every citizen. In the past 21 years, we have invested TL97 billion in Mardin.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens in Mardin.

Underlining that the administration has been implementing policies of development and service in Türkiye in the past 21 years, President Erdoğan said: “We have equipped all cities in our country with investments that will improve the quality of life of every citizen. In the past 21 years, we have invested TL97 billion in Mardin. In education, we have built 5,764 new classrooms. We have inaugurated Artuklu University. In youth and sports, we have opened higher education dormitory buildings with a capacity of 4,205 people. We built 41 sports facilities.”

Noting that they allocated more than TL10 billion in total to the citizens in need in Mardin, President Erdoğan said: “In health, we have built and put into service 37 health facilities, including 15 hospitals with a total of 1,424 beds. The construction of our Mardin City Hospital with a bed capacity of 750 and the annex building of Kızıltepe State Hospital is underway.  Our city hospital will operate together with the Faculty of Medicine of Artuklu University, which we have completed the establishment of. The faculties of agricultural technologies in Kızıltepe and art&design in Midyat have also been inaugurated.”

President Erdoğan also noted that they have built nearly 11 thousand residences in Mardin through TOKİ (the Housing Development Administration).
