“We have gathered our goals for the new century of our Republic under the vision of the Century of Türkiye”

Speaking at a rally in Denizli, President Erdoğan said: “We have gathered our dreams and goals for the new century of our Republic under the vision of the Century of Türkiye.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a rally in Denizli.

Congratulating the citizens on the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, President Erdoğan said: “We have gathered our dreams and goals for the new century of our Republic under the vision of the Century of Türkiye.”

“IN THE LAST 20 YEARS, WE ACHIEVED CENTURIES’ WORTH OF PROGRESS IN DEMOCRACY AND DEVELOPMENT”

Underlining that the administration did not neglect the quake-hit region while carrying out all these preparations, President Erdoğan pointed out that ministers have been on the ground since the first day, and noted that he himself visited every province affected by the earthquake.

“From search and rescue to debris removal, from temporary shelter and assistance to breaking ground for permanent houses, we personally saw every step of the work on site.  Our goal is to build 650 thousand new residences, 319 thousand of which will be built within a year, and to revive our cities destroyed by the earthquake as soon as possible. With the power of our state and the solidarity of our nation, we will inshallah achieve this goal. It has not even been 2.5 months since the earthquake, but inshallah, we will deliver the first newly-completed village houses on the second day of Eid,” President Erdoğan said.

Stating that they are also rapidly continuing preparations for the disaster-resilient city projects, which they will carry out across the country, President Erdoğan announced that they will share the good news in Istanbul on the day of Eid.

“We have achieved centuries’ worth of progress in democracy and development in our country in the last 20 years,” President Erdoğan said.
