“We want to build the Century of Türkiye with Mersin”

 

Addressing citizens in Mersin, President Erdoğan said: “Mersin has a unique place in our country’s agriculture, industry and trade. More importantly, Mersin has a unique place in our hearts with its fabric incorporating all the colors of our country’s human richness.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens during a party rally in Mersin.

Noting that each one of Türkiye’s 81 provinces has a unique place in the hearts, President Erdoğan said: “We were actually planning to come to Mersin at an earlier date. We were going to meet with you here and attend the delivery ceremony of the fuel rods at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. However, we had to attend the Akkuyu event via video link due to a minor illness at that time. I thank Allah for making me a son of this country, a member of this nation and a companion of Mersin.”
