“We will not rest until we fully revive our quake-hit cities”

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Gaziantep City Hospital, President Erdoğan said: “We will not rest until we fully revive our quake-hit cities with their infrastructure, superstructure, city centers and rural areas.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of Gaziantep City Hospital.

“The City Hospital, which has an indoor area of 680 thousand square meters, will serve with a total capacity of 1,875 beds, including 265 intensive care and 30 dialysis beds, 64 operating rooms, 335 outpatient clinics, diagnostic and treatment centers, and a parking lot for 4,500 vehicles,” President Erdoğan said.

Stating that the people of Gaziantep will now benefit from high-level healthcare services thanks to the city hospital, which has advanced medical technologies and advanced facilities, President Erdoğan said: “With the official inauguration of our hospital, I hope that the equipment and personnel shortcomings in some of its units will be completely remedied and the problems regarding appointments and services will be resolved. I believe that our Ministry of Health will solve all these issues in a short time.”

Remembering with mercy over 53 thousand citizens, 3 thousand 904 of whom were in Gaziantep, who lost their lives in the February 6 earthquakes, President Erdoğan said: “One year after the disaster of the century that hit 124 districts and 7 thousand villages and neighborhoods of 11 cities, including Gaziantep, affecting 14 million people, we are rapidly fulfilling our promise to heal the wounds. Yesterday in Hatay, today in Gaziantep, Tuesday in Kahramanmaraş, Wednesday in Şanlıurfa, Thursday in Adıyaman and Friday in Elazığ, we are delivering the first houses to the rightful owners. We will not rest until we fully revive our quake-hit cities with their infrastructure, superstructure, city centers and rural areas.”
