“We will successfully complete the biggest housing and urbanization mobilization of the Republican history”
Speaking at the key delivery ceremony of the village houses in Belpınar and Mesthüyük villages of Gaziantep’s Nurdağı district and in Özbek village of Kahramanmaraş’s Türkoğlu district, President Erdoğan said: “With Allah’s permission, we will successfully complete the biggest housing and urbanization mobilization of the Republican history.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the key delivery ceremony of the village houses in Belpınar and Mesthüyük villages of Gaziantep’s Nurdağı district and in Özbek village of Kahramanmaraş’s Türkoğlu district.
Underscoring that they immediately set to work following the earthquake disasters on February 6, President Erdoğan said: “As of the 15th day of the earthquakes, we broke the ground and started the constructions. In line with the analyses we have made, we are building 650,000 new homes in the earthquake zone, 507,000 of them residences and 143,000 village houses.”
“WE HAVE THUS FAR STARTED THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OF OVER 105,000 HOUSES”
During all the recent visits they have paid to the earthquake zone, they have held groundbreaking ceremonies for new residences and village houses in every city, President Erdoğan added: “We have thus far started the construction process of over 105,000 houses. We have broken the ground for nearly half of them. We are building not only houses, but also brand-new living spaces with all their schools, healthcare centers, markets, green areas and parks.”
Further noting that they are renewing the infrastructure of not only the collapsed areas in the earthquakes, but also of the entire cities, President Erdoğan stated: “By building small industry sites, we take care of employment as well as housing. With Allah’s permission, we will successfully complete the biggest housing and urbanization mobilization of the Republican history.”
