“Every inch of our homeland benefited from our democracy and development initiatives”

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Atatürk Republic Tower, President Erdoğan said: “Türkiye has achieved all its progress in the past 21 years with policies of service and work. There is not an inch of land or a single individual who has not benefited from our democracy and development initiatives.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of Atatürk Republic Tower in Ankara.

Beginning his remarks by wishing Allah’s mercy on all the heroes who sacrificed their lives to make this land a homeland for a thousand years, especially the martyrs of Çanakkale, President Erdoğan said: “May Allah protect our country and nation from all enemies, troubles, catastrophes and disasters.”

Highlighting Atakule in Çankaya as a symbol of Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “With the Atatürk Republic Tower designed by the same architect, the city has gained yet another symbol.”

Noting that the Atatürk Republic Tower will greet the city from 197 meters as the tallest building in Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “It will provide memorable services to its visitors with its library, sports hall, cafeteria, wedding hall, exhibition hall, viewing area, restaurant and other units. The Seljuk star at the top of the tower is already a seal of Ankara in itself.”
