“Mamak has become a symbol of our policy of service in Ankara”

 

Speaking at an opening ceremony in the Mamak district of Ankara, President Erdoğan said: “We have taken significant initiatives in every field to ensure that Mamak recovers from its old landscape and never falls behind again. Thus, Mamak has become one of the symbols of our policies of service and works in Ankara.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at an opening ceremony in the Mamak district of Ankara.

Reminding that Mamak is the gateway to Ankara for more than 40 provinces and the fourth largest district of Ankara in terms of population, President Erdoğan said: “We all remember the old state of Mamak. Previously, when we think of Mamak, the first thing that came to mind were slums, unplanned houses, poverty and destitution.”

Stating that they put an end to this unbecoming landscape in Mamak with both municipal services and government investments, President Erdoğan said: “We have taken significant initiatives in every field to ensure that Mamak recovers from its old landscape and never falls behind again.”

“Mamak has become one of the symbols of our policies of service and works in Ankara,” President Erdoğan said. “Mamak makes a strong impression with its modern buildings, green areas, sports facilities and cultural centers. Especially in municipal investments, our district is making a name for itself as a success story in Ankara.”

Stating that today they added new ones to the list of works and services, President Erdoğan said that they officially put into service 52 investments, including pools, nation’s cafes, gardens, indoor market places, libraries, kindergartens, museums and youth centers, built by Mamak Municipality.
