“We conduct a very effective and successful fight against terror”

 

Speaking at an iftar with police, gendarmerie and coast guard personnel, President Erdoğan said: “As the government and state, we have conducted a very effective and successful fight against terror, and continue to do so. We reap, both at home and beyond our borders, the fruits of our strategy of eliminating terror at its source. We have brought the separatist terrorist organization to the brink of extinction as a result of our uninterrupted operations.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at an iftar dinner with police, gendarmerie and coast guard personnel at the Exhibition Hall of the Presidential Complex.

Wishing a blessed Ramadan to the participants, President Erdoğan stressed that the efforts and endeavors of the security forces have played a critical role in enabling the Turkish democracy to reach the high levels it enjoys at the present.

Thanking all the security personnel for their works, President Erdoğan said: “One of the issues we must regard as above politics is the scourge of terror. All the terrorist organizations from the PKK to FETO, DAESH to DHKPC are the enemies of our nation without exception.”

“THERE IS NO PLACE FOR TERROR IN THE FUTURE OF TÜRKİYE AND THE REGION”

Drawing attention to the effective and successful fight conducted against terror by the government and the state, President Erdoğan said: “We reap, both at home and beyond our borders, the fruits of our strategy of eliminating terror at its source. We have brought the separatist terrorist organization to the brink of extinction as a result of our uninterrupted operations. With our operations in Syria and Iraq, we have pushed the terrorist organizations DAESH and PKK/YPG away from our borders. We will inshallah maintain these positive steps with resolve and perseverance.”

Voicing determination to show it to all, friends and foes alike, that there is no place for terror in the future of Türkiye and the region, President Erdoğan stated: “The latest elections have further reinforced this determination of ours. Those seeking to design Türkiye’s politics, economy and diplomacy by means of terrorist organizations as in the past will not able to achieve their goals.”
