“We have provided our nation with a peaceful and safe life”
Addressing citizens in Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “Through services and projects which it would take days were we to recount one by one, we have developed our country and provided our nation with a peaceful and safe life.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens during a party rally in Istanbul.
“Through services and projects which it would take days were we to recount one by one, we have developed our country and provided our nation with a peaceful and safe life,” the President said.
Drawing attention to the services and projects he has pioneered across the country since he took office first as the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and then as the Prime Minister and President of Türkiye despite all the obstacles, President Erdoğan stated: “We have enriched the advantages of this city through infrastructure and superstructure investments and made it a city envied by the world. After taking office as the Prime Minister, we have realized the greatest democracy and development move of the history by foiling one by one all the plots of the tutelage.”
“WE HAVE TRIPLED TÜRKİYE’S NATIONAL INCOME OVER THE PAST 21 YEARS”
Stressing that Türkiye’s national income has tripled over the past 21 years, President Erdoğan said: “We have raised the life quality of our nation with the schools, universities, hospitals, roads, tunnels, bridges, airports and railway lines inaugurated in all of the 81 provinces of the country.”
“We are well aware of the repercussions in our country of the global crises that have broken out one after another recently. We are also aware that the problems in various areas have further been aggravated by the earthquakes. Rest assured that we never turn a blind eye to the high cost of life in the markets, especially the housing and food costs. We are closely following all of these issues, some of which have been caused by greed and some by seasonal conditions. We will for sure see all of them resolved over time,” underlined President Erdoğan, assuring that all the projects laid out in the party’s election declaration will be put into practice.
