“We need the Quran’s guidance more than ever today”

Speaking at the grand final of the Holy Quran Recitation Contest, President Erdoğan said: “We as the Muslims need the Quran’s guidance more than ever today. Bloodshed, tears and instability prevail in Muslim cities all across the world.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the grand final of the Holy Quran Recitation Contest.

Speaking at the contest, President Erdoğan said: “We as the Muslims need the Quran’s guidance more than ever today. Bloodshed, tears and instability prevail in Muslim cities all across the world. Islamic countries are the places where ethnicity-, disposition- and race-centric tensions take place the most.”

“WHEN WE LOOK AT MANY REGIONS FROM AFRICA TO ASIA, WE CAN EASILY SEE HOW THIS WHEEL OF EXPLOITATION HAS BEEN BUILT AND OPERATED”

Underscoring that the perpetrators of this picture, which is quite the contrary of the values they believe in, are not Muslims alone, President Erdoğan noted: “The games played by global imperialist powers over the Islamic world have a significant role in these challenges we are faced with. The benefit of the gold, oil, minerals and other underground/ground resources are enjoyed by not the true owners of such riches but old imperialist powers. When we look at many regions from Africa to Asia, we can easily see how this wheel of exploitation has been built and operated.”

“THE PURPOSE OF THE GAMES PLAYED IS TO LOOT THOSE RICHES”

Stating that wars and conflicts are the tools used the most in this regard, President Erdoğan went on to say: “The plans aimed at maintaining this order of exploitation lie behind the conflicts, tensions and oppressions that shed blood in Syria, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Palestine and in many other Islamic territories. The purpose of the games played under the pretext of bringing democracy, eliminating terror, developing countries, or of ensuring peace and stability, shortly by hiding behind a different mask each time is to loot those riches. Unfortunately, they have succeeded in this most of the time.”

“EVEN WORDS FALL SHORT TO EXPLAIN THE OPPRESSION AND GENOCIDE OUR GAZAN BROTHER AND SISTERS HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO”

Reminding that Syria has yet to leave behind chaos and turmoil for 13 years, and that the environment of peace has yet to be established in Libya or Yemen, President Erdoğan, drew attention to the millions of displaced people in Sudan, and added: “The policies of occupation, oppression and massacre in Palestine, on the other hand, have been continuing for 75 years. Even words fall short to explain the oppression and genocide our Gazan brother and sisters have been subjected to for 180 days.”

“We should open-heartedly accept our own mistakes and our own faults while questioning the roles of enemies of Islam and humanity in all these crises,” President Erdoğan said.
