“We will completely change the face of Istanbul”

 

Speaking at “Transformation of the Century: Istanbul” event, President Erdoğan said: “Thanks to our mobilization for urban transformation, and obviously with the support of our citizens, we will inshallah completely change the face of our city. We will definitely provide each and every one of our brothers and sisters, who have questions on their minds and concern in their hearts, with safe, modern, aesthetic and livable houses.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at “Transformation of the Century: Istanbul” event in Istanbul.

Commencing his speech by wishing Allah’s mercy upon the soldiers who died a martyr’s dead in the attacks conducted by the separatist terrorist organization in the north of Iraq yesterday, President Erdoğan stressed that the security forces have and are duly responding to the attacks.

Stating that one of the provinces that need urban transformation the most is Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “We will speed up our works by building 400 thousand houses in the areas designated as reserve zones in Istanbul. With the ‘Half is on Us’ campaign, whose first contract we have signed today, we will ensure the transformation of 350 thousand houses. In addition to these ones, we will build another 100 thousand social houses across our city.”
