President Erdoğan, President el-Sisi of Egypt talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt.

The call addressed Israel’s attacks on Palestinian territories and the efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

President Erdoğan underscored that it is important for Islamic countries to continue their works in unity to achieve a permanent ceasefire. 

Congratulating his Egyptian counterpart on his reelection as President, President Erdoğan expressed his wish for the new era to be auspicious for the Türkiye-Egypt relations.
