President Erdoğan spoke at the Diyarbakır rally

 

Addressing citizens in Diyarbakır, President Erdoğan said: “We have come to Diyarbakır to ask for your support in the next phase of the democracy and development moves we have been making for 21 years. It is not the political parties that will be competing here in the March 31 elections. Rather, the politics of projects and services will be competing here against the politics of exploitation and give-and-take.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at the party’s rally in Diyarbakır.

Drawing attention to the efforts undertaken to make Diyarbakır the star of its region with its infrastructure and superstructure, President Erdoğan stressed that they have been working to reconstruct the region. 

President Erdoğan said: “We have come to Diyarbakır to ask for your support in the next phase of the democracy and development moves we have been making for 21 years. It is not the parties that will be competing here in the March 31 elections. Rather, the politics of projects and services will be competing here against the politics of exploitation and give-and-take.”

Touching upon Türkiye’s fight against the PKK both at home and abroad, President Erdoğan underlined that the terrorist organization has been incapacitated inside the country, and added: “We are also taking the situation across the border under control step by step. Yet, this doesn’t change the fact that we are still faced with a pawn that can be employed by anyone against our country and nation. While most of the countries around us are writhing in a ring of blood and fire, we never have and never will submit to those seeking to undermine our security, peace, welfare, stability or prosperity.”
