President Erdoğan: We will continue to stand with our investors who believe in Turkey’s potential

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of new production line at Şişecam Polatlı Factory.

“WE TREASURE EVERY INDUSTRIALIST WHO PRODUCE, EXPORT AND GENERATE JOBS”

“As I always say, we treasure every industrialist who build, produce, export and generate jobs for our people,” President Erdoğan said. “As an administration that regards the private sector to be the engine of economic growth and development, we will continue to stand with our investors who believe in Turkey’s potential and trust in our economy.”

“We have taken numerous historic steps to liberate the Turkish economy from its shackles, and the Turkish democracy from the chains of tutelage. Despite all the attacks we have suffered, we have never given up on our ideal of a stronger, more prosperous and democratic Turkey,” President Erdoğan said.

“We have increased Turkey’s average annual growth rate from below 1 percent to 5.1 percent. When we came into power, our annual export volume was $36 billion. As of last month, we have increased this volume to over $207 billion,” President Erdoğan noted.

“Sustainable industrial production must be realized by the private sector under the leadership and with the support of the state. In this spirit, we see the 82,223 incentive certificates, we issued in the past 19 years as a sign of investors’ confidence in the Turkish economy,” President Erdoğan underlined.
