He was born on February 5, 1957 in Kayseri.
His father’s name is Mustafa and his mother’s name is Nuriye.
He is Economist and Industrialist.
He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics and Finance.
He is a member of
- Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone Entrepreneur Board ,
- Kayseri Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association,
- Mülkiyeliler Union Assosiaciton of the Kayseri Branch (as a founding member)
He was elected as Kayseri Deputy in the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th and 27th terms.
Mr. Elitaş was elected as a Vice President of AK Party Group on March 31, 2021 and he served as a vice president of AK Party Group for 3 terms.
He served as chairman of the Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission and chairman of the Planning and Budget Commission. He also served as Minister of Economy in the 64th Government.
Mr.Elitaş, who speaks English at an intermediate level, is married and has 4 children.
