Bülent TURAN

Bulent Turan was born on October 17th, 1975 in Canakkale, Lapseki district.

He graduated from Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School.

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the School of Justice, Eastern Mediterranean University, he earned his master’s degree in the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in Canakkale 18 Mart University.

Bulent Turan participated in many student organizations and NGO’s during his high school and university years.
 
He is the owner and founder of Turan Law Office where he previously worked as a manager. Turan is a former member of the Executive and Supervisory Board of the Lawyers Association. He is still an active member of the executive and supervisory boards and general assemblies of many NGOs.

After serving as the Vice Chairman of AK Party İstanbul Youth Branch, Bülent Turan became the Vice Chairman of AK Party Main Branch in charge of Organization Committee.

He is a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) since he was elected as a Deputy of AK Party from Istanbul (the 3rd electoral district) for the 24th term in the general elections held on June 12th, 2011.   

He is currently a member of the Justice Commision of the GNAT, Executive Board of AK Party Group and also Deputy General Secretary of AK Party.

He compiled the photos he shot in Turkey and all over the world and their stories in a photo-book titled "Bir Mola".

He speaks English and married with two children.
